  • Linen blends
  • Viscose twill

Additional Supplies

  • One button

Cutter's Must

  • Front pant half - 2 qty
  • Back pant half - 2 qty
  • Side of front half - 2 qty
  • Waistband - 1 qty
  • Pocket bag - 2 qty
  • Welt - 2 qty
  • Back pocket lining – 2 qty

Sewing Instructions

  1. On the front halves, lay the pleats and baste them.
  2. Clean finish the pocket openings with pocket bags and topstitch close to the edge. Pin the front halves to the side panels, aligning the pocket openings with the notches. Stitch the pocket bags from the wrong side. Baste the pocket bags to the front halves.
  3. Stitch the darts on the back halves, side seams, and inseams.
  4. Stitch the center front seam below the slit mark. Press the one-piece slit facings along the fold lines to the wrong side. Stitch the zipper under the slit seam allowance, placing the teeth close to the fold. Pin the slit. Pin the free zipper tape to the facing of the other side of the slit and stitch, without catching the front half. Then topstitch this front half at a distance of 2.5cm, catching the facing.
  5. Attach the waistband to the upper edge of the pants, leaving the waistband closure allowance extending beyond the edge of the slit allowance. Fold the waistband in half lengthwise and clean finish the front short sides and the closure allowance. Turn under the inner edge of the waistband and sew it to the attachment seams. Topstitch the waistband close to the edge.
  6. Hem the pants.
  7. On the waistband, make a buttonhole, and sew a button on the closure allowance.
