  • Summer & Resort Wear: Its lightweight design and short sleeves make it suitable for warmer climates.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: Relaxed fit, gently shaped to follow the body's contours without being restrictive.

Neckline: Classic round neckline finished with a wide, double-layer neckband sewn from the neckline facings.

Front Detail: Two pleats laid into the front neckline seam, folded in different directions to create an asymmetrical drape, adding a sophisticated detail to the front.

Back: Clean, unembellished back for a smooth finish.

Hem: Straight hem designed for versatility in styling, whether tucked in or worn untucked.

Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate. Requires accurate pleat formation, precise neckband application, and neat cuff construction.

Fabric Recommendations

Select lightweight to medium-weight blouse fabrics with good drape and body, such as:

  • Blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers, ideally with a touch of elastane for comfort.

Additional Supplies

  • Fusible interfacing

Cutter's Must

If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: Hem allowance – 1.5 cm. Other seams – 1.0 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

  • From main fabric:
    • Back Facing – 2 pieces
    • Back – 1 piece on fold
    • Front – 1 piece
    • Front Facing – 2 pieces
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
    • Cuff – 2 pieces
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Back Facing – 1 piece
    • Front Facing – 1 piece
    • Cuff – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match! Attention! Markings on the patterns are on the right side!

  1. Fuse interfacing to one Back Facing, one Front Facing and the Cuffs.
  2. Fold and baste the left pleat at the front neckline edge (pleat fold directed away from the center). Fold and baste the right pleat at the front neckline edge (pleat fold directed towards the shoulder).
  3. Stitch side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
  4. Stitch the shoulder seams of the outer and inner neckbands (Front Facing + Back Facings), press allowances open. Place the outer and inner neckbands right sides together and stitch the neckline edge. Clip allowances at curves, turn right side out and press. Stitch the outer neckband to the neckline edge, press allowances towards the neckband. Press the lower edge of the inner neckband to the wrong side and stitch it in the ditch of the attaching seam.
  5. Stitch sleeve seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock. Set sleeves into armholes, press allowances and overlock.
  6. Stitch each Cuff into a ring, press allowances open. Fold the Cuff lengthwise in half and press. Stitch the outer half of the Cuff to the sleeve, turn under the allowance of the inner half and stitch it in the ditch of the attaching seam.
  7. Overlock the lower edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
