Key Design Features
Silhouette: A relaxed, dolman-sleeve top cinched at the natural waist by a tie-belt, flaring into a gentle peplum for a flattering shape.
Neckline: Features a classic round neckline, neatly finished with a clean bias binding.
Closure: A concealed zipper at the center back ensures a smooth, invisible finish and easy wear.
Sleeves: Short, cuffed dolman sleeves offer a comfortable, relaxed fit with a touch of structured detail.
Back: Includes a center back seam with an invisible zipper closure for a streamlined appearance.
Waist: Defined by a wide, self-fabric tie-belt that artfully cinches the waist and can be tied into a decorative bow.
Length: Designed to finish at the high hip, with the peplum adding subtle volume and movement.
Level Of Difficulty
Intermediate. This pattern requires skills in precise zipper insertion, careful construction of the self-fabric tie-belt, and neat finishing techniques for the neckline and sleeve cuffs.
Fabric Recommendations
Choose medium-weight blouse fabrics with good drape to best showcase the peplum and ties:
- Blouse fabrics made from natural fibers (e.g., cotton sateen, linen blends, challis)
- Blouse fabrics made from blended fibers (e.g., viscose blends, Tencel twill, polyester crepe)
