FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: medium-stretch knit fabric made of natural or blended fibers; knit lace fabric. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: knit fusible interfacing; 8 buttons.
CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: Hem allowance for the bottom of the garment and sleeve hem – 1.5 cm; other seams – 1 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical details).

- Front piece - 2 pieces
- Back yoke – 1 piece
- Neckline facing – 2 pieces
- Placket — 4 pieces
- Sleeve – 2 pieces
- Sleeve tab – 2 pieces
- From lace fabric:
- Front yoke – 2 pieces
- Center back piece - 1 piece
- From fusible interfacing:
- Neckline facing – 1 piece
- Placket – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH! TRY TO OBSERVE THE GRAIN LINE DIRECTION.
- Fuse interfacing to the designated pieces.
- Place neckline facing pieces right sides together and stitch along the outer contour. Start and end the stitching strictly at the marked seam line for attachment. Clip curves in the seam allowances. Turn the finished facing right side out and press.
- Stitch the princess seams on the back, overcast the allowances and press towards the center. Attach the yoke to the back. Overcast the allowance and press upwards.
- Along the upper edge of the front, stitch with a loosened thread and gather. Attach the yoke to the front, press allowances towards the yoke and overcast.
- Fold placket pieces in pairs right sides together and stitch the outer edge. Turn the pieces right side out and press. Attach the outer placket to the front, press allowances towards the placket. Fold under the raw edge of the inner placket and topstitch into the attachment seam.
- Stitch side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Attach the upper facing to the neckline, press allowances towards the facing. Fold under the raw edge of the lower facing and topstitch into the attachment seam of the upper facing.
- Fold the tabs in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the long and short edges. Turn right side out, trimming allowances at corners, straighten and press. Overcast the raw short edge. Topstitch the tabs to the wrong side of the sleeves according to markings.
- Stitch sleeve seams, press towards the back and overcast. Set sleeves into armholes, press allowances and overcast.
- Overcast the raw edge of the garment hem and sleeve hems, fold inwards and topstitch.
- On the right front, make buttonholes; on the left, sew on buttons. Make buttonholes on the tabs; sew on buttons on the sleeves.
