Tech. Description

Fabric & Materials

FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS: low-stretch knit fabric made from natural or blended fibers. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: knit fusible interfacing; 3 buttons.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: hem allowance for garment and sleeve hem – 1.2 cm; neckline allowance for upper front pieces – 1.2 cm; center seam allowance for upper left front piece – 1.2 cm; other seams - 0.7 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. ATTENTION! Markings on the patterns are made on the right side of the fabric.

  • From knit fabric:
    • Upper left back piece – 1 piece
    • Upper right back piece – 1 piece
    • Lower back piece – 1 piece
    • Upper left front piece – 1 piece
    • Upper right front piece – 1 piece
    • Lower front piece – 1 piece
    • Collar stand – 2 pieces
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • From fusible interfacing:
    • Collar stand – 1 piece

Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.
