Cutter's Must

Seam allowances: all seams 1 cm; dress hem allowance – 3.0 cm, sleeve hem allowance – 2.0 cm, allowance along the vent – 6 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match! Markings on the patterns are on the right side.

Press the left piece along the vent fold line; on the right piece, press only the right-side vent allowance (6 cm) to the wrong side. Align the pieces along the center seam and baste them together along the upper edge of the vent. Serge the vent allowances. Stitch the center back seam from the neckline to the first marking and from the second marking to the corner of the vent. Clip the vent seam allowance at the corner on the right piece. Press the center seam allowances open, press the vent allowances and secure them with machine stitching. Insert the concealed zipper.
- Stitch the front princess seams (Center Front to Side Front), press the allowances towards the center and serge.
- Serge the inner edges of the cut-on yoke facings. Fold the facings to the right side and stitch the upper corner up to the marked line. - Stitch the front yoke to the lower front, press the allowances downwards and serge.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams, press the allowances towards the back and serge.
- Place the Collar pieces right sides together and stitch the ends and outer edge. Start and end the stitching exactly at the marked collar attachment line. Turn the collar right side out, push out the corners and press. Stitch the outer collar edge to the neckline, matching the round mark on the collar with the center back seam; press the allowances towards the collar. Turn under the open inner edge of the collar and topstitch it over the attachment seam.
