CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm. Hem allowance for the bottom of the garment – 2 cm. Allowance for the lower edge of the flounce – 2 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).

  • From main fabric:
    • Lower back part - 2 pieces
    • Lower front part – 1 piece on fold
    • Flounce – 1 piece on fold
  • Chiffon:
    • Upper back part – 2 pieces
    • Upper front part – 1 piece on fold
    • Sleeve – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

  1. Stitch darts on the front, press depths upwards.
  2. Stitch shoulder seams. Overlock allowances and press towards the back. Set in sleeve into the upper part of the armhole. Bind the allowances of the upper armhole with bias tape. Bind the neckline with bias tape.
  3. Stitch side seams of the lower parts. Overlock allowances and press towards the back.
  4. Hem the lower edge of the flounce twice by 1 cm and topstitch. Align and secure the upper edges of the lower parts and the flounce. Place the upper front part onto the blouse and stitch. Overlock allowances and press upwards. Secure the center back edges and the center flounce edges.
  5. Overlock center back edges separately. Stitch seam from zipper mark to bottom. Press allowances open, pressing the slit for the zipper. Insert the zipper.
  6. Overlock the lower edges of the blouse. Fold allowance inwards and topstitch.
