Sewing Instructions
- Stitch darts on the front and back; press bust darts upwards and waist darts towards the center. Overlock center edges separately. Stitch the seam from the zipper mark to the bottom. Press seam allowances open, pressing the slit for the zipper. Insert the zipper.
- Fold flounces right sides together and stitch along the outer edge. Turn the flounce right side out and press. Secure the edges of the pieces along the contour. Place the flounce on the front, fold back a section of the flounce along the marked line. Secure the seam allowances of the flounce and front along the shoulder, side, armhole, and neckline seams.
- Stitch shoulder and side seams. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the back.
- Cut (if not ready-made) a bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the neckline length + 5cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Fold the binding with the neckline edge right side together and stitch. Clip seam allowances. Fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam. Finish armhole edges in a similar way.
- Overlock the bottom edges of the blouse. Fold the allowance inwards and topstitch.
