Attention! First of all, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) to determine how much material you will need (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical details). When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
- From main fabric:
- Back – 1 piece on fold
- Front – 1 piece on fold
- Sleeve - 2 pieces
- Collar – 1 piece
- From fusible interfacing:
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the collar.
- Stitch shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Attach sleeve to the garment, press allowance towards the sleeve and overlock.
- Stitch side seams simultaneously with sleeve seams, press allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Fold the collar in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the corners. Start and end the stitching strictly at the collar attachment line. Trim allowances at the corners and turn right side out. Press the collar. Set in the upper collar into the garment neckline. Fold the allowance of the inner collar inwards and topstitch into the seam of the upper collar attachment.
- Overlock the bottom edge of the garment and sleeve, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
