  6. Front Neckline Facing – 2 pieces

From Fusible Interfacing:

  1. Back Neckline Facing – 2 pieces
  2. Front Neckline Facing – 1 piece

Important Information

Before cutting your fabric:

  • Print and lay out pattern pieces to determine yardage.
  • Check mirrored pieces, notches, and grainlines.
  • For patterned fabrics, align carefully for symmetry.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Interfacing

Apply fusible interfacing to the Back Neckline Facing and Front Neckline Facing.

2. Center Back Seam

Overlock the center back edges.

Stitch the center back seam from the zipper notch to the hem.

Press the seam allowances open.

3. Front Darts

Stitch the darts on the Front.
Press the dart intake upward.

4. Pockets

Overlock the Pocket pieces along the edges.

Turn the seam allowances to the inside and press.

Turn the upper seam allowance of the Pocket to the wrong side and topstitch.

Topstitch the Pocket onto the Front according to the markings.

5. Shoulder and Side Seams

Stitch the shoulder and side seams, press the seam allowances toward the Back, and overlock.

6. Neckline Facing

Stitch the shoulder seams of the inner and outer Back Neckline Facing and Front Neckline Facing.
Press the seam allowances open.

Place the facings right sides together and stitch along the neckline.

Attach the facings to the Front and Back.

Overlock the seam allowance and press toward the facing.

Topstitch along the facing at 0.2 cm from the seam.

7. Zipper

Insert the zipper.

8. Sleeves

Stitch the sleeve seam of the Sleeve pieces.
Overlock the seam allowance and press toward the Back.

Set the sleeves into the armholes, matching notches.
Overlock the seam allowance.

9. Hem

Overlock the hem allowances of the dress and sleeves.

Press to the wrong side and topstitch.
