- Right FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- Right TRIM STRIP – 2 QTY
- FRONT FACING - 1 QTY
- FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
- BACK FACING – 2 QTY
- FRONT FACING - 1 QTY
- Left TRIM STRIP - 1 QTY
- Right TRIM STRIP - 1 QTY
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FACINGS and inner TRIM STRIPS with FUSIBLE INTERFACING.
- Stitch darts on the BACK SKIRT HALF, press the fullness towards the center. Overcast the center edges of the BACK SKIRT HALF separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the mark to the bottom edge. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open, pressing the slit for the ZIPPER. Insert the ZIPPER.
- Attach the TRIM STRIP to the right FRONT PANEL, clip SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the TRIM STRIP. Attach the TRIM STRIP to the left FRONT PANEL, clip SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the TRIM STRIP. Stitch the FRONT PANELS together from the left side edge to the slit mark, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open.
- Stitch the inner TRIM STRIPS together from the left side edge to the slit mark, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Overcast the outer edges. Place the TRIM STRIPS with the FRONT PANEL right sides together and stitch the slit sides. Turn the TRIM STRIPS to the wrong side, straighten, press. Topstitch the inner TRIM STRIPS into the seam of attaching the outer TRIM STRIPS.
- Stitch and press open the side edges of the FACINGS, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Overcast the bottom edge. Place the FACING with the skirt right sides together and stitch the top edge. Topstitch SEAM ALLOWANCES to the FACING at a distance of 0.2 cm from the stitching seam. Fold the FACINGS to the wrong side, press. Fold the center edges and sew to the ZIPPER tape. Attach the FACING to the side SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Overcast the bottom edge of the garment, press to the wrong side and hem with blind stitches.
