Sewing Instructions
- Stitch darts on the upper and lower BACK PANELs, trim the depth to 1 cm and press towards the center.
- Stitch darts on the upper FRONT PANELs, trim the depth to 1 cm and press towards the center, lower darts — towards the center. On the lower FRONT PANEL, create pleats. If necessary, slash the area marked with a wavy line. Secure the pleats along the upper edge.
- On the middle BACK PANELs and FRONT PANELs, from the wrong side, make 4 horizontal tucks every 2 cm. Tuck depth — 2 mm.
- Attach the upper and lower FRONT PANELs and BACK PANELs to the middle parts. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center parts.
- Serge the middle edges of the BACK PANEL separately. Stitch the middle edge of the BACK PANEL from the ZIPPER mark to the lower edge, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Insert the ZIPPER.
- Stitch shoulder edges, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Stitch side edges. On the skirt, serge SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the BACK PANEL, on the BODICE — press open.
- Process darts on the FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL LINING, attach the middle parts. Serge the lower edge of the LINING. Stitch the side and shoulder edges of the LINING. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL. Place the dress with the LINING face to face and stitch the neckline. Slash along the vertical cut. Slash SEAM ALLOWANCES at the curves, turn the LINING out, straighten and press. Secure the LINING to the garment along the side and lower SEAM ALLOWANCES. Attach the LINING to the ZIPPER tape. Attach the LINING to the armhole SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the SLEEVE edge. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press towards the BACK PANEL. Along the lower edge, stitch with a loosened upper thread. And gather. Stitch the CUFF into a ring. Fold the CUFF in half lengthwise and press. Attach the upper CUFF to the SLEEVE. Fold the lower SEAM ALLOWANCE inwards and topstitch into the seam of the upper attachment.
- Serge the lower edge of the dress, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
