    • Center upper FRONT PANEL — 1 QTY on fold
    • Center lower FRONT PANEL — 1 QTY on fold
    • Strap — 1 QTY
    • BACK PANEL FACING — 2 QTY
    • FRONT PANEL FACING — 1 QTY
  • From main fabric 1:
    • SIDE PANEL of BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
    • SIDE PANEL of FRONT PANEL — 2 QTY
    • SLEEVE — 2 QTY
  • From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
    • BACK PANEL FACING — 2 QTY
    • FRONT PANEL FACING — 1 QTY

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to FACING pieces.
  2. Stitch the princess seams of the BACK PANEL. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center and serge.
  3. Serge the center back seam separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the ZIPPER mark downwards. Press the seam allowances open, pressing the slit. Insert the ZIPPER.
  4. Stitch the bust darts, press the depths downwards. On the center lower FRONT PANEL, create and secure the pleats (depths directed towards the side seams). Stitch the center upper and lower FRONT PANELs together, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and serge.
  5. Fold the strap in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the long edge. Turn the strap right side out and press. Attach a decorative buckle. Place the strap on the FRONT PANEL and secure along the princess seams. Stitch the princess seams of the FRONT PANEL. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the side and serge.
  6. Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
  7. Stitch the shoulder seams of the FACINGs, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Serge the outer edge. Place the FACING on the neckline and stitch. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES, turn the FACING to the wrong side, smooth out, and press. Hand-stitch the FACING to the shoulder seams and the SEAM ALLOWANCES of the center back seam.
  8. Stitch the SLEEVE seam, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge. Set the SLEEVEs into the armholes, matching the NOTCHES. Press and serge SEAM ALLOWANCES.
  9. Serge the bottom edge of the dress and SLEEVEs, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
