Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the respective pieces.
- Serge the center back seam allowance separately on each piece. Stitch the center back seam from the ZIPPER mark downwards. Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES open, pressing the slit. Insert the ZIPPER.
- Fold the FRONT PANEL insert in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the longitudinal edge. Turn the insert right side out and press. Attach a decorative buckle. Place the insert on the FRONT PANEL and secure along the relief seams. Stitch the relief seams on the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the center.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the BACK PANEL.
- Stitch the shoulder seams of the FACINGS. Serge the outer edge. Place the FACING on the neckline and stitch. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCES and turn the FACINGS to the wrong side. Stitch the FACING to the shoulder seams and the center back seam.
- Stitch the SLEEVE seam. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press towards the BACK PANEL. Serge the lower edge of the SLEEVE. Fold the SEAM ALLOWANCE inwards and topstitch.
- Serge the lower edge of the dress, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
