  3. Along the upper edges of the lower dress parts, stitch with loosened upper thread and gather.
  4. Attach the lower BACK PANEL to the upper part. Overlock SEAM ALLOWANCES and press upwards. Overlock the center back edge separately on each piece. Stitch the center back edge from the ZIPPER mark downwards. Press open the seam allowances, pressing the slit. Insert the ZIPPER.
  5. Attach the lower FRONT PANEL to the upper part. Overlock SEAM ALLOWANCE and press upwards.
  6. Stitch side and shoulder edges. Overlock SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the back.
  7. Stitch shoulder edges of FACINGS. Overlock the outer edge. Place the FACING on the neckline and stitch. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES and turn FACINGS to the wrong side. Stitch the FACING to the shoulder seams and the center back seam.
  8. Stitch the SLEEVE seam. Overlock SEAM ALLOWANCE and press towards the back. Overlock the lower SLEEVE edge. Fold the allowance inwards and topstitch, forming a casing. Insert elastic tape into the casing and secure the ends. Set the SLEEVE into the armhole, creating arbitrary pleats.
