ATTENTION: BACK PANEL pieces from LINING are cut according to the main pattern pieces, subtracting the width of the BACK PANEL neckline FACING.

• From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
1. Collar stand – QTY 1
2. Front facing – QTY 2
3. BACK PANEL neckline FACING – QTY 1

Sewing Instructions

1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the designated pieces.
2. Fold the belt pieces lengthwise in half, right sides together, and stitch along the long edge and one short edge. Turn the pieces right side out, shape, and press.
3. Stitch the princess seams of the upper BACK PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Attach the insert to the BACK PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the insert. Attach the lower BACK PANEL to the insert, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the insert. Stitch the outer collar stand to the neckline.
4. Stitch the princess seams of the upper FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES open. Attach the insert to the FRONT PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the insert. Attach the lower FRONT PANEL to the insert, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the insert.
5. Attach the SIDE PANEL to the BACK PANEL, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the SIDE PANEL. Attach the SIDE PANEL to the FRONT PANEL, inserting the belt into the left seam, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the SIDE PANEL.
6. Stitch and press open the shoulder seams.
7. Stitch the inner collar stand to the neckline FACING. Stitch and press open the shoulder seams of the BACK PANEL neckline FACING and the front FACING. Thread the buckle onto the right belt. Place the front FACING with the FACING right side down onto the right side of the FRONT PANEL, pin, and stitch the front edge, neckline, and lower corner of the front edge, inserting the belt with the buckle. Trim the seams at the corners. Understitch the front edge FACING SEAM ALLOWANCE to the front FACING. The stitching should be 0.2 cm from the seam. Turn the front edges right side out, shape the seams. Press the bottom edge of the garment.
8. On the LINING fabric pieces, stitch the seams, leaving an opening in the front right seam. Attach the LINING to the inner edges of the front FACINGS and the BACK PANEL neckline FACING.
9. Attach the LINING to the bottom of the vest. Stitch the armholes. Turn the vest right side out through the opening. Stitch the opening closed.
10. On the left FRONT PANEL, make a buttonhole. Sew a hidden button corresponding to it.
