- From main fabric:
- 1. BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- 2. Lower BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
- 3. FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
- 4. Lower FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- 5. Back SLEEVE part – 2 QTY
- 6. Front SLEEVE part – 2 QTY
- 7. COLLAR – 1 QTY
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also sew pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the bust darts on the FRONT PANEL. Trim the dart depths with an overlocker and press.
- Attach the back SLEEVE parts to the BACK PANEL pieces, press and serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the center back seam of the BACK PANEL, press and serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Attach the lower BACK PANEL to the BACK PANEL, press and serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Attach the front SLEEVE parts to the FRONT PANEL pieces, press and serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the center front seam of the FRONT PANEL, press and serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Attach the lower FRONT PANEL to the FRONT PANEL, press and serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the upper SLEEVE seam, press and serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES. Stitch the lower SLEEVE seams and side seams in one continuous seam. Press and serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the COLLAR into a loop. Press the COLLAR in half lengthwise with the right side out and insert it into the neckline of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. The COLLAR seam should be located at the left shoulder seam. Press and serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Serge the bottom edge of the garment and SLEEVES, press to the wrong side, and hem with blind stitches.
