Fabric Recommendations

Choose fabrics that provide stretch and recovery while supporting the fitted shape:

  • Medium-stretch knit fabrics from natural or blended fibers
  • Stretch lace for decorative inserts

These materials ensure comfort, flexibility, and a clean, body-contouring finish.

Additional Supplies

  • Stretch lace
  • Knit-compatible fusible interfacing (as required)

Cutter’s Must

From Main Fabric:

  1. Back Yoke – 2 pieces
  2. Lower Center Back – 2 pieces
  3. Side Back – 2 pieces
  4. Center Front – 1 piece on fold
  5. Sleeve – 2 pieces
  6. Front Yoke – 2 pieces

From Lace:

  1. Side Front – 2 pieces
  2. Upper Back – 1 piece on fold

Assembly Instructions

1. Front

Stitch the darts on the Center Front.
Trim the dart intake and press upward.

Attach the Side Front to the Center Front.
Overlock the seam allowance and press toward the center.

Attach the Front Yoke to the Center Front.
Overlock the seam allowance and press toward the yoke.

2. Back

Stitch and overlock the princess seam on the Lower Center Back and Side Back.
Press the seam allowance toward the center.

Stitch and overlock the center back seam of the lower section.

Attach the Upper Back to the lower section.
Overlock the seam allowance and press downward.

Attach the Back Yoke to the Back.
Overlock the seam allowance and press toward the yoke.

3. Neckline and Shoulders

Stitch the right shoulder seam, overlock the seam allowance and press toward the Back.

Cut a bias strip 4 cm wide and with a length equal to the neckline length + 5 cm (if not using ready-made).

Fold the bias strip lengthwise, right side out, and press.

Place the bias strip onto the neckline from the right side and stitch.

Clip seam allowances.

Turn the bias strip to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the garment.

Press the seam.

Stitch the left shoulder seam, overlock the seam allowance and press toward the Back.

4. Sleeves

Overlock the sleeve hem, turn to the wrong side and topstitch.

Set the Sleeve into the armhole.

5. Side Seams

Stitch the side seams, overlock the seam allowances and press toward the Back.

6. Armholes

Cut a bias strip 4 cm wide and with a length equal to the armhole length + 5 cm (if not using ready-made).

Fold the bias strip lengthwise, right side out, and press.

Place the bias strip onto the armhole from the right side and stitch.

Clip seam allowances.

Turn the bias strip to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold onto the garment.

Press the seam.

7. Hem

Overlock the lower edge of the garment.

Turn to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
