Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the princess seams of the back. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the center. Stitch the center seam on the upper and lower back PANELs. Overlock the seam and press to the left side. Stitch the upper and lower back PANELs together. Press the seam upwards and overlock.
- Stitch the princess seams on the front pieces. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the center. Gather the upper front between the notches. Attach the lower parts to the upper. Overlock the seam allowance and press upwards.
- Stitch the shoulder seams, press seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Overlock the left side seam separately on each piece. Stitch the left side seam from the armhole to the first notch and from the second notch to the bottom, press seam allowances open. Insert the zipper. Stitch the right side seam, press seam allowances towards the back and overlock.
- Stitch the sleeve seam. Overlock the seam allowance and press towards the back. Set the sleeve into the armhole, matching notches. Overlock the seam allowance.
- Clip the neckline seam allowance at the notches. Overlock the clipped section. Fold the seam allowance inwards and topstitch. Fold the collar lengthwise, right sides together. Clip the collar seam allowance at the outermost notches and stitch the ends. Turn the collar right side out and press. Attach the outer collar to the neckline, matching notches. Fold the inner collar seam allowance inwards and topstitch into the seam.
- Overlock the lower sleeve seam allowance, fold inwards and topstitch.
- Overlock the hem seam allowance of the dress, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
