    7. BACK PANEL neckline FACING – QTY 1
    8. FRONT PANEL neckline FACING – QTY 1
  • From FUSIBLE INTERFACING:
    1. BACK PANEL neckline FACING – QTY 1
    2. FRONT PANEL neckline FACING – QTY 1

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL neckline FACINGS.
  2. Stitch the center back seam, press SEAM ALLOWANCES to the left side and overlock. Stitch the back princess seams, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the center and overlock.
  3. On the right FRONT PANEL, create and secure pleats along the princess seam as follows: join the two lower NOTCHES together, directing the resulting inner edge upwards. Pin the pleat. Join the next two lower NOTCHES together and pin (directing the inner edge upwards), and so on. The inner edges of all pleats are directed upwards.
  4. Stitch the left upper FRONT PANEL part to the right part, press SEAM ALLOWANCES upwards and overlock. Stitch the FRONT PANEL princess seam. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCE at the lower NOTCH of the right FRONT PANEL part. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES away from the center and overlock.
  5. Overlock the lower bias edges of the FRONT PANEL, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Place the decorative ZIPPER on the princess seam and topstitch.
  6. Stitch the shoulder seams, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and overlock. Overlock the left side seams separately, stitch from the armhole to the first NOTCH and from the second NOTCH to the hem. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open, pressing the slit for the ZIPPER. Insert the ZIPPER. Stitch the right side seams, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL, overlock.
  7. Stitch the shoulder seams of the FACINGS. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open and overlock. Overlock the outer edge of the FACINGS. Place the garment and FACING right sides together, aligning the neckline edges. Stitch the neckline edge. Clip the seam at the curves, turn the pieces right side out and press. Topstitch the SEAM ALLOWANCES to the FACING. Secure the FACING with hand stitches to the shoulder seams and the center back seam.
  8. Overlock the lower edge of the SLEEVE, press to the wrong side and topstitch. Set the SLEEVES into the armholes, press. Trim the armhole and SLEEVE cap SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.7 cm.
  9. Cut a BIAS BINDING 3.5 cm wide and equal in length to the armhole. Bind the armhole all around. Press the seam.
  10. Overlock the lower edge of the garment. Fold to the wrong side, press and topstitch.
