CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. Lower BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- 2. Right FRONT PANEL — 1 QTY
- 3. Left upper FRONT PANEL — 1 QTY
- 4. Left lower FRONT PANEL — 1 QTY
- From main fabric 1:
- 1. Upper BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
- 2. Upper FRONT PANEL — 2 QTY
- 3. CUFF — 2 QTY
Tip: Knit fabric pieces are sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity. You can also sew pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlock machine.
Sewing Instructions
- Serge the neckline SEAM ALLOWANCE of the FRONT PANEL, fold it inwards, and topstitch. Stitch the left parts of the FRONT PANEL. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press it downwards. Attach the upper parts to the FRONT PANELs. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press them downwards. Stitch the center seam of the FRONT PANEL. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE. Place a bartack on the neckline SEAM ALLOWANCE of the FRONT PANEL.
- Serge the neckline SEAM ALLOWANCE of the BACK PANEL, fold it inwards, and topstitch. Attach the upper BACK PANEL to the lower BACK PANEL. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press it downwards. Stitch the center seam of the BACK PANEL. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE. Place a bartack on the neckline SEAM ALLOWANCE of the FRONT PANEL.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch the CUFF into a loop. Fold the CUFF lengthwise and attach it to the bottom of the SLEEVE. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE.
- Serge the bottom of the dress, fold it inwards, and topstitch.
