- 2. Lower back - 1 piece
- 3. Back insert – 1 piece
- 4. Upper front - 2 pieces
- 5. Lower front - 2 pieces
- 6. Front insert - 2 pieces
- From lining:
- 1. Upper back - 2 pieces
- 2. Lower back - 1 piece
- 3. Back insert – 1 piece
- 4. Upper front - 2 pieces
- 5. Lower front - 2 pieces
- 6. Front insert - 2 pieces
Attention: lining pieces are cut using the main fabric patterns. It is recommended to use the main fabric as lining.
- From fusible interfacing:
- 1. Front insert – 2 pieces
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse fusible interfacing to the designated pieces.
- Stitch darts on the upper back. Press darts towards the center back. Stitch the center back seam. Press the seam open.
- Attach the back insert to the back. Attach the lower back to the insert. Press seams towards the insert.
- On the upper front, press darts according to markings. The dart depth is directed towards the side seam. Stitch darts only up to the crosswise notch.
- Attach the insert to the upper front. Attach the lower front to the insert. Press seams towards the insert.
- Stitch the shoulder and side seams of the back and front. Press seams towards the back.
- Stitch the lining pieces similarly to the main fabric pieces, leaving an opening in the left side seam for turning.
- Facing the neckline, front edge, and hem with lining. Clip curves. Turn pieces right side out and press. Facing the armhole in 2 steps: first the upper, then the lower. Clip curves. Turn pieces right side out and press. Close the technological opening. Stitch a reinforcing seam along the seam attaching the insert to the upper and lower parts.
- According to markings, make a buttonhole on both front PANELs. Sew a decorative button on the left front. On the right front, sew: a decorative button on the right side, and an inner button on the wrong side.
