CUTTER'S MUST
- From main fabric:
- 1. BACK PANEL – 1 QTY
- 2. Center FRONT PANEL – 1 QTY
- 3. SIDE PANEL – 2 QTY
- 4. SLEEVE – 2 QTY
Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim SEAM ALLOWANCES to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the SIDE PANELs of the FRONT PANEL to the center. Serge seams and press towards the center.
- Stitch the right shoulder seam. Serge the seam and press towards the BACK PANEL. Cut a BIAS BINDING 4 cm wide, equal to the length of the neckline. Fold the TRIM STRIP in half with the right side out and press. Place the TRIM STRIP on the wrong side of the neckline and stitch. Turn to the right side and topstitch. Stitch the left shoulder seam. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCE and press towards the BACK PANEL. Place a bar tack on the neckline at the shoulder seam level.
- Set the SLEEVEs into the armholes, matching the NOTCHES. Serge seams and press.
- Stitch the side seams simultaneously with the SLEEVE seam. Serge SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Serge the bottom edge of the garment, the bottom edge of the SLEEVE. Fold to the wrong side, press and topstitch.
