Introducing a women's sewing pattern for a top featuring a stylish V-neckline and volumetric elbow length sleeves.
This blouse offers a blend of comfort and style, perfect for:
Silhouette: Fitted through the bodice, tapering slightly at the waist for a flattering shape.
Neckline: Classic V-neckline, finished with a narrow band for a clean look.
Sleeves: Three-quarter length balloon sleeves, gathered at the shoulder and hem for distinctive volume and a soft finish.
Back: Clean back with a visible center back seam, providing subtle shaping.
Hem: Straight hemline, designed to sit comfortably at the hip.
Intermediate. Involves working with knit fabrics, precise gathering techniques, and bias binding application.
Choose well-draping knit fabrics with medium stretch for optimal fit and comfort:
No additional notions are required.
If the patterns have a double contour, the patterns include seam allowances. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: hem allowance – 1.5 cm, other seams 0.7 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need.
Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim seam allowances to 0.6 – 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle to maintain elasticity.
When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
