Introducing a women's sewing pattern for a chic, cropped jacket featuring elegant raglan sleeves, a sophisticated stand collar, and a button closure.
This stylish jacket is designed for versatile wear, offering an elegant layer for a variety of occasions:
Silhouette: a contemporary cropped jacket with a relaxed, slightly structured fit that finishes elegantly at the hip.
Collar: Features a tall, architectural stand collar, creating a refined and modern neckline.
Closure: a distinguished three-button front closure.
Sleeves: Distinctive raglan sleeves cut to a three-quarter length.
Front Detail: a subtle curved yoke-like seam defines the upper chest, adding to the jacket's tailored appeal.
Length: Designed to sit at the hip, offering a modern, cropped profile.
Intermediate. Requires confident sewing skills, including accurate construction of the stand collar and raglan sleeves, precise facing and lining application, and careful topstitching.
Choose structured yet soft fabrics for the main garment, allowing for a beautiful drape and shape:
If the patterns have a double contour, they include seam allowances; if the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: Hem allowance for the garment bottom and sleeve hem – 3 cm, other seams – 1 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need (don't forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).
Attention: The back sleeve, front sleeve, and front pieces from lining fabric are cut with the back neckline facing and front facing subtracted.
When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match!
