Fabric recommendations: blouse fabrics made from natural or blended fibers. Also needed: fusible interfacing; 1 button; decorative chain.

CUTTER'S MUST

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm; hem allowance – 2 cm; allowance along the outer edge of the detached parts – 0 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical parts). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH!

• From main fabric:
  • Back - 2 pieces
  • Front - 1 piece on fold
  • Detached piece - 2 pieces
  • Front neckline facing - 1 piece
  • Back neckline facing - 2 pieces
  • Sleeve - 2 pieces
  • Cuff - 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Front neckline facing - 1 piece
  • Back neckline facing - 2 pieces
  • Cuff - 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

1. Interface the pieces with fusible interfacing.
2. Stitch the darts on the back pieces. Press the dart allowances towards the center. Serge the center back edges separately. Stitch the center back seam from the slit mark to the bottom, press seam allowances open.
3. Stitch the bust darts. Press the dart allowances upwards.
4. Serge the center edge of the detached part. Turn the self-faced facing to the wrong side along the marked line and topstitch. Form and secure the pleat. Serge, fold inwards, and topstitch the bottom edge of the detached piece. Place the detached piece onto the front, right sides up, and secure along the raw edges.
5. Stitch the shoulder and side seams. Serge the allowances and press towards the back.
6. Cut a bias strip 2.5 cm wide and 10 cm long for the loop. Fold the strip in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch 0.3 cm from the fold. Trim allowances close to the stitching, turn the strip right side out, and straighten the rouleau. Adjust the loop length.
7. Stitch the shoulder seams of the neckline facings, press allowances open. Serge the outer edge. Place the facing onto the garment, right side down, and stitch the neckline edge. Clip the allowances, turn the facing to the wrong side, and press. Secure the facing to the main garment at the shoulder seams and center back edge, inserting the loop.
8. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and serge. Along the sleeve cap, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Along the bottom of the sleeve, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Set the sleeves into the armholes according to the notches, press allowances and serge.
9. Fold the cuff piece in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the side edges and the step. Start and end stitching exactly at the marked cuff attachment seam line. Turn the piece right side out, press. Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve, fold the allowance of the inner side of the cuff inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer cuff attachment.
10. Serge the hem allowance, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
11. Sew the button onto the back. Sew the decorative chain onto the front.
