Fabric recommendations: soft knit fabric with medium stretch from natural or blended fibers. You will also need: knit fusible interfacing.

IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, THEY INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, THE PATTERNS DO NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCES. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams - 1.0 cm; hem allowance for the garment bottom and sleeve - 1.5 cm. Allowance along the outer edge of the flying front panel - 1.5 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED. WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH! Attention! Markings on the patterns are made on the right side!

• From main fabric:
  • Back – 1 piece on fold
  • Front – 1 piece on fold
  • Flying front panel – 1 piece
  • Sleeve – 2 pieces
  • Back neckline facing – 2 pieces
• From fusible interfacing:
  • Back neckline facing – 1 piece

Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. When serging, trim allowances to 0.8 cm. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.

Sewing Instructions

1. Interface the pieces with fusible interfacing.
2. Serge the outer and lower edges of the flying front panel, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
3. Along the left shoulder edge of the flying front panel, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather. Place the flying front panel right side down onto the wrong side of the front and stitch the upper edge of the integrated stand-up collar. Clip allowances, turn the flying front panel to the right side of the front and secure along the open edges. Then treat as one piece.
4. Fold the back neckline facing with the back right sides together and stitch the upper edge of the integrated stand-up collar, starting and ending the stitch exactly at the shoulder seam line.
5. Stitch the shoulder edges, inserting the front between the facing and back pieces. Turn the piece to the right side, straighten, press.
6. Stitch the side edges, press allowances towards the back and serge.
7. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and serge. Set in sleeves into armholes, matching notches, press allowances and serge.
8. Serge the hem allowance of the garment bottom and sleeve bottom, fold to the wrong side and topstitch.
