Fabric recommendations: dress fabrics made of natural or blended fibers with added elastane. YOU WILL ALSO NEED: fusible interfacing; one large button.
CUTTER'S MUST
IF THE PATTERNS HAVE A DOUBLE CONTOUR, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE INCLUDED. IF THE CONTOUR IS SINGLE, SEAM ALLOWANCES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SEAM ALLOWANCES: all seams 1 cm; top edge of pocket – 2 cm; hem allowance – 3 cm. ATTENTION! FIRST, PRINT OUT THE PAPER PATTERNS AND LAY THEM OUT ON THE FABRIC WIDTH (fabric width can be from 90cm to 150cm) TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH MATERIAL YOU WILL NEED (do not forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces). WHEN STITCHING PIECES, PAY ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES - THEY MUST MATCH! Attention! Markings on the patterns are made on the right side.

- Collar – 1 piece
- Flap – 1 piece
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse interfacing to the flap and collar.
- Stitch darts on back pieces, press allowances towards the center.
- Stitch the center back seam. Overcast edges and press to the left side.
- Place flap pieces right sides together and stitch the side and bottom edges. Trim allowances, turn right side out and press. Overcast the top edge of the pocket, fold the allowance inwards and topstitch. Fold the bottom and side allowances to the wrong side and press. Place the pocket on the detachable front part according to markings and topstitch. Place the flap on the detachable front part, with the raw edge facing down. Topstitch the flap. Fold the flap down and topstitch.
- Overcast the top and vertical edges of the detachable part. Fold allowances inwards and topstitch.
- Overcast the inner edge of the front. Fold allowance inwards and topstitch.
- Place the detachable front part on the front and secure by stitching a vertical securing stitch along the marked line.
- Stitch shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Stitch the collar into a loop. Press allowances open. Stitch the outer side of the collar to the neckline, press allowances towards the collar. Fold allowances of the inner side of the collar inwards and stitch into the seam of the outer side.
- Cut (or use ready-made) bias binding 4 cm wide and a length equal to the armhole length + 4 cm. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge right sides together and stitch. Fold the binding to the wrong side, clip allowances, and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam.
- Stitch side seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Overcast the hem allowance of the dress, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
- Overcast the buttonhole and sew on the button.
