Before cutting your fabric, print and lay out the paper patterns according to your fabric width (90–150 cm) to determine required yardage.

Remember to account for paired and symmetrical pieces.

When sewing, pay close attention to all notches — they must match precisely to ensure correct construction and fit.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Interfacing

Apply fusible interfacing to the pieces.
Apply fusible interfacing to the integral placket of the Front.

2. Back Yoke

Attach the Back Yoke to the Back.
Overlock the seam allowances and press upward.

3. Patch Pocket

Overlock the upper edge of the Patch Pocket, turn the allowance to the wrong side and topstitch.

Turn the side and lower allowances of the pocket to the wrong side and press.

Place the Patch Pocket onto the Left Front and topstitch according to the markings.

4. Shoulder Seams

Stitch the shoulder seams, press the seam allowances toward the Back and overlock.

5. Collar and Collar Stand

Place the upper and lower Collar pieces right sides together, stitch the ends and outer edge.

Trim seam allowances, turn the collar right side out, shape and press.

Place the Collar Stand pieces right sides together, insert the prepared Collar between them, match notches and stitch, simultaneously finishing the ends of the stand.

Start and finish stitching exactly at the marked collar stand attachment line.

Turn the collar assembly right side out and press.

Attach the upper Collar Stand with collar to the neckline.

Turn the open edge of the lower stand to the inside and topstitch in the seam of attachment.

6. Sleeve Placket

Make the slit on the Sleeve along the marked line.

Cut a bias strip from the main fabric 4 cm wide and with a length equal to double the slit length plus 4 cm.

Fold the strip lengthwise and press.

Fold the outer edges toward the center and press.

Finish the sleeve slit with the bias strip.

Form and secure the pleat on the sleeve.
The pleat is directed away from the closure.

7. Sleeves

Set the sleeves into the armholes, press the seam allowances and overlock.

8. Side Seams and Pocket Bags

Attach the Pocket Bag pieces to the Front and Back, overlock seam allowances.

Stitch the sleeve seam together with the side seam and the pocket bag edges.

Press seam allowances toward the Back and overlock.

9. Cuffs

Fold the Cuff pieces lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the side edges.

Start and finish stitching exactly at the marked cuff attachment line.

Turn the cuff right side out and press.

Attach the outer side of the cuff to the sleeve.

Turn the inner edge of the cuff to the inside and topstitch in the seam of attachment.

10. Hem

Turn the lower edge of the garment to the inside by 1 cm, then again by 1 cm and topstitch.

11. Fastening

Make buttonholes on the Right Front, sew buttons on the Left Front.

Make buttonholes and sew buttons on the cuffs and the Collar Stand.
