Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the darts on the front. Press the bust dart depths upwards.
- Fold the seam allowance of the middle yoke edge twice by 1 cm and topstitch. Fold the yoke ruffle in half lengthwise, right sides out, and press. Along the upper edge, stitch with a loosened upper thread and gather slightly. Place the ruffle on the front and secure. Attach the front yokes, aligning the middle edges of the yoke butt-to-butt. Press the seam allowance downwards and overcast.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams, press allowances towards the back and overcast.
- Stitch the lower ruffle into a loop. Press the seam allowance open. Attach the ruffle to the bottom of the dress, gathering it.
- Stitch with a loosened upper thread along the sleeve cap. And gather. Stitch with elastic thread along the marked line on the sleeve. Stitch the sleeve seam, press allowances towards the back and overcast. Set the sleeves into the armhole, matching notches, press allowances and overcast.
- Fold the collar in half lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch the corners and ties up to the mark. Clip the allowances at the marks, trim at the corners. Turn the collar right side out. Attach the outer collar to the neckline. Fold the allowance of the inner collar inwards and topstitch into the seam of the outer collar attachment.
- Fold the belt piece lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the contour, leaving an opening for turning. Trim allowances at the corners, turn right side out and press. Close the opening.
- Overcast the hem allowance of the garment and sleeve, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
