This waistcoat is a traditional companion to a formal tailcoat, ideal for:

KEY DESIGN FEATURES
Silhouette: Fitted vest with a cropped front and elongated pointed hem to balance the long tailcoat skirts.
Collar: Flat extended shawl collar, lying smoothly over the chest and neck — designed to sit neatly beneath a tailcoat lapel, similar to traditional frock or white-tie waistcoats.
Closure: Four front buttons.
Pockets: Two decorative single welt pockets at the lower front.
Back: Clean, open-back design with an adjustable strap with buckle for precise fit.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Before cutting your fabric, print and lay out the pattern according to your fabric width (90–150 cm) to determine yardage. Ensure mirrored pieces for fronts, align stripes or checks if applicable, and stabilize the collar edge for crisp tailoring.
