All interfacing pieces are cut using the corresponding main pattern pieces.
Before cutting your fabric, print and lay out the paper patterns according to your fabric width (90–150 cm) to determine required yardage.
When sewing, carefully match all notches and zipper placement — they must correspond precisely to ensure correct construction and fit.
Apply fusible interfacing to the Collar, Cuff, Flap, and Center Front Facing.
(Fusible interfacing is pressed onto the wrong side of the pieces with a hot iron.)
Press the upper seam allowance of the Patch Pocket to the wrong side, turn under and topstitch.
Attach the lower parts of the snap fasteners.
Press the open edges of the pocket to the inside, place onto the Front according to the markings and stitch close to the edge.
Place the Flap pieces right sides together, stitch along the outer edges, turn right side out, press, and topstitch.
Attach the upper parts of the snap fasteners.
Attach the flap to the Front.
Place the Back Yoke and Lower Back right sides together and stitch.
Press the seam toward the yoke and topstitch.
Stitch the shoulder and side seams, overlock the seam allowances.
Press the front closure allowances to the wrong side, baste the zipper so that the teeth remain visible.
Place the Center Front Facing onto the garment right sides together, turn the integrated hem facing to the right side, and stitch it to the front facings.
Press the seam open.
Stitch the front edges, simultaneously attaching the zipper.
Turn right side out, press, and topstitch.
Fold the Collar lengthwise at the center, right sides together, and stitch the short edges.
Turn right side out, press, and topstitch.
Press the open edges inward, insert the neckline between them and stitch close to the edge.
Stitch the upper sleeve seam to the slit marking, overlock and press the seam allowances toward the upper part of the sleeve.
Below the slit, press the seam allowances open and topstitch close to the edge onto the sleeve.
Stitch the lower sleeve seam.
Set the sleeves into the armholes, overlock the seam allowances, press toward the armhole, and topstitch.
Form the pleats at the lower edge of the sleeve according to the markings, press and baste along the edges.
Fold the Cuff pieces lengthwise at the center, right sides together, stitch the short edges, turn right side out, and press.
Place the cuffs right sides together with the sleeves and attach.
Shape the cuffs, press the open edge inward and topstitch in the seam of attachment, continuing the topstitching around the entire cuff perimeter.
Turn under the edge of the integrated hem facing and sew horizontal rows according to the markings for the elastic tape.
Insert elastic tape into the channels and secure with vertical stitching according to the markings.
Topstitch the open edge of the waistband onto the garment, continuing the decorative topstitching around the entire waistband perimeter.
