- From fusible interfacing: front facing, back neckline facing, flap.
Sewing Instructions
- Reinforce the front FACINGs, back neckline facing, and flap with fusible interfacing.
- Place flap pieces right sides together and stitch along three sides. Trim the seam allowances, turn the flap right side out, baste, and press. Topstitch along the perimeter of the flap. Remove temporary stitching.
- Attach the side hood parts to the central and serge the seams. Mark and make buttonholes on the hood. Fold the outer hood allowance to the wrong side, fold again, and topstitch onto the hood.
- Serge the outer contour of the pocket and press it according to the pattern. Topstitch the upper edge of the pocket. Mark the placement of the pocket and flap. Place the pocket on the front and topstitch according to the markings. Topstitch the flap according to the markings, press downwards, and topstitch.
- Place front PANELs right sides together and align the edges, measure the length of the front edges. Attach the zipper to the edge of the front opening. Fold the edges of the front opening in the zipper area and press.
- Stitch and serge the center back seam. Press the center back seam and topstitch along the seam at a distance of 0.5 cm.
- Stitch and serge the side and shoulder seams. Press the side and shoulder seams towards the back.
- Attach the back neckline facing to the front FACINGs. Serge the outer edge of the front FACINGs and facing. Place the front facing on the right side of the front, right side down, and stitch along the front opening line and neckline, inserting the hood between them. Stitching is done from the front side. Stitch the lower corner of the front opening. Turn the front openings right side out, straighten the seams, and press.
- Press the upper edge of the sleeve facing. Attach the sleeve facing to the sleeve. Stitch and serge the sleeve edges. Press the sleeve seams. Topstitch the pressed facing seam onto the sleeve. Set the SLEEVEs into the armhole according to the notches.
- Topstitch along the zipper at a distance of 0.5 cm. Thread the cord through the hood buttonholes, attach cord ends to the cord.
- Serge the bottom edge of the jacket, fold and topstitch.
