Cutter's Must

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. Front – 1 qty
  • 2. Back – 1 qty
  • 3. Sleeve – 2 qty
  • 4. Collar – 1 qty

Attention! Before starting, ensure that the head can pass through the collar sewn into a ring.

Tip: Cut pieces from knit fabrics are sewn with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The seam allowances for the hem are topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity. You can also sew the pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.

  2. Set in sleeves into the open armhole, matching notches. Overlock seam and press towards the sleeve. Stitch side seam and sleeve seam in one continuous step. Overlock seam allowances and press towards the back.
  3. Fold collar into a ring, right sides together, and stitch. Turn collar right side out, fold in half, wrong sides together. Attach collar to the neckline, matching notches. The side edge of the collar is positioned at the left shoulder seam. Overlock the collar attachment seam and press.
  4. Overlock the bottom edge of the garment, the bottom edge of the sleeve. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
