If the patterns have a double contour, seam allowances are included. If the contour is single, the patterns do not include seam allowances. Seam allowances: hem allowance for garment and sleeve hem – 2 cm, neckline allowance - 1.3 cm, other seams 0.7 cm. Attention! First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out on the fabric width (fabric width can be from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much material you will need.

  • From main fabric 1:
    • Lower front - 1 piece
    • Lower back – 2 pieces
    • Upper sleeve – 2 pieces
    • Lower sleeve - 2 pieces
  • From main fabric 2:
    • Upper front – 2 pieces
    • Upper back – 2 pieces

Sewing Instructions

When stitching pieces, pay attention to the notches - they must match! Tip: Knit fabric pieces are stitched with a special elastic or narrow zigzag stitch. The hem allowance is topstitched with a twin needle or on a coverstitch machine to maintain elasticity. You can also stitch pieces directly on a 3- or 4-thread overlocker.

  1. Mark, fold, and secure the pleats on the upper front.
  2. Stitch the center seam on the upper and lower back parts. Overlock allowances and press to the left side. Stitch the upper and lower back parts. Overlock allowances and press downwards.
  3. Stitch the shoulder seams. Overlock allowances and press towards the back.
  4. Overlock the neckline edge. Fold the allowance inwards and topstitch.
  5. Place the right upper front over the left and secure with pins. Stitch the upper and lower front parts. Overlock allowances and press downwards.
  6. Along the sleeve cap and the lower edge of the upper sleeve, make a stitch with loosely tensioned stitches and gather. Attach the lower sleeve to the upper. Overlock allowances and press downwards. Set sleeves into the open armhole. Overlock allowances.
  7. Stitch the side seams, simultaneously stitching the sleeve seam. Overlock allowances and press towards the back.
  8. Overlock the bottom edge of the garment and the sleeve hem. Fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch.
