Assembly Instructions

1. Fuse Interfacing

Apply fusible interfacing to the Fronts, Upper Parts, Lower Parts, and Handles (marked on pattern as “Strap”) pieces.

2. Ring Tabs

Cut from main fabric a strip measuring 24 cm long and 6 cm wide.

Fold lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the long edge.
Turn right side out and cut into four equal pieces (6 cm each).

Fold each piece in half, pass through a ring, and topstitch onto the Front pieces according to the markings.

3. Zipper Tab

Cut a zipper tab measuring 4 cm x 3 cm.

Fold in half along the short edge and press.

4. Zipper Assembly

Place the zipper tab on the right side of the zipper.

Place the Upper Part and Top Part Lining right sides together.
Insert the zipper between them, aligning raw edges.

Stitch along the zipper teeth, beginning 1 cm from the edge and stopping 1 cm before the end.

Turn the pieces right side out.

5. Attach Lower Part

Attach the Lower Part of the bag to the side edges of the Upper Part pieces and the zipper tab.

6. Inside Zipper Pocket

Mark the placement of the internal pocket on the Front Part Lining.
Reinforce the zipper area with interfacing.

Cut the pocket opening along the marked line.
Make diagonal clips 1–1.5 cm from each end.

Turn seam allowances inward.

Place the zipper underneath the pocket opening so that the zipper teeth remain visible.
Topstitch around the pocket opening 0.2 cm from the edge.

Attach the Bigger Pocket Lining to the upper zipper tape and the Smaller Pocket Lining to the lower zipper tape.
Stitch the pocket lining edges together.

7. Assemble Lining

Attach the Lower Part Lining to the side edges of the Top Part Lining and zipper assembly.

8. Ring Holder

Cut a ring holder measuring 6 cm long and 4 cm wide.

Turn seam allowances inward along the long edges, fold crosswise in half, and press.

9. Attach Front Pieces

Insert the Front pieces into the bag, simultaneously topstitching the Trimming and inserting the prepared ring holders.

10. Attach Lining

Attach the Front Part Lining to the bag lining, leaving an opening for turning.

Turn the bag right side out through the opening.
Close the opening with stitching.

11. Handle (Strap)

Fold the Handle (marked on pattern as “Strap”) lengthwise, right sides together, and stitch along the long edge.

Turn right side out and press.

Topstitch 0.2–0.5 cm from the edge.

Pass one end of the Handle through a ring, fold the seam allowance under, and topstitch to secure.
