Sewing Instructions
- Stitch the princess seams of the center and side front. Overlock the seam and press towards the center front.
- Stitch the princess seams of the center and side back. Overlock the seam and press towards the center back.
- Stitch and overlock the side seams of the upper skirt. Press the upper skirt side seams towards the back. Stitch and overlock the side seams of the lower skirt. Press the lower skirt side seams towards the back. Overlock the hem of the lower skirt, fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch 0.5 cm from the bottom edge.
- Stitch the side and shoulder seams of the dress. Overlock the seams and press towards the back. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, press, and use it to bind the neckline edge of the front and back, as well as the armhole edge of the front and back.
- Place the upper skirt wrong side onto the right side of the lower skirt and baste along the upper edge. Place the bodice and skirt pieces right sides together, aligning the side seams. Stitch from the bodice side. Overlock the seam and press.
- Overlock the center back edge. Stitch the center back seam up to the notches for the zipper. Press open the seam, pressing the allowances for the zipper. Insert the zipper.
- Overlock the hem of the skirt, fold to the wrong side, press, and topstitch 0.5 cm from the bottom edge.
