Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the belt with fusible interfacing.
- Attach the front yoke to the left front. Overlock the seam, press it towards the yoke, and topstitch decoratively.
- Attach the right front to the front skirt half. Overlock the seam, press it towards the skirt half, and topstitch decoratively.
- Attach the back yoke to the left back. Overlock the seam, press it towards the yoke, and topstitch decoratively.
- Attach the right back to the back skirt half. Overlock the seam, press it towards the skirt half, and topstitch decoratively.
- Overlock the side edges of the skirt. Stitch the side seams, leaving an opening for the zipper in the left side seam and slits at the bottom. Press open the side seams, pressing the bottom slits and the zipper opening.
- Fold the belt loop lengthwise in half, right sides together, align the edges, and stitch at a distance of 0.5-0.7 cm from the edges. Then turn it right side out, straighten the seam, positioning it on the fold or forming a 0.1–0.2 cm wide edge on the inside, and press.
- Press the belt lengthwise in half, wrong sides together, and overlock the lower inner edge of the belt. Cut the belt loops to size and topstitch the belt loops to the lower edge of the belt according to the markings.
- Insert the zipper into the left side seam. Attach the belt with belt loops to the upper edge of the skirt. Stitch the ends of the belt, trim the seam allowances at the corners, and turn right side out. Topstitch the lower overlock edge of the belt into the attaching seam and press the belt into its finished shape. Topstitch the belt loops onto the belt.
- Overlock the lower edge of the skirt. Press the hem allowance to the wrong side and topstitch. Topstitch along the slits at a distance of 0.5 cm from the edge of the slit.
