- Front skirt half – 1 qty
- Waistband – 1 qty
Sewing Instructions
- Fuse fusible interfacing to the waistband and vent seam allowances.
- Stitch darts on the back skirt half pieces, press the fullness towards the center and topstitch 0.1 cm from the seam.
- Overlock the center edges of the back skirt half separately on each piece, simultaneously overlocking the vent. Stitch the center edge from the zipper mark to the edge of the vent. Press the seam allowances open, pressing the zipper opening, press the vent seam allowances towards the left side edge. Press the right side of the vent 1 cm and topstitch. Secure the vent seam allowances with machine stitching. Insert the zipper.
- Stitch the center edge of the front, press the seam allowances towards the left side edge and overlock and topstitch 0.1 cm from the seam.
- Form pleats on the front skirt half. Topstitch the pleats 4 cm from the upper edge.
- Stitch the front skirt half to the back skirt half along the side and shaped edges. Press the seam allowances towards the back skirt half and overlock. Topstitch 0.1 cm from the seam.
- Press the waistband in half lengthwise, wrong sides together. Overlock the lower edge of the inner waistband. Attach the outer waistband to the upper edge of the skirt, simultaneously finishing the waistband corners. Topstitch 0.1 cm from the waistband attachment seam, simultaneously securing the inner. Make a buttonhole and sew on a button.
- Overlock the lower edge of the skirt, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
