Sewing Instructions
- Fuse the waistband with fusible interfacing.
- Stitch the princess seams on the front skirt half and back skirt half, serge and press them towards the center.
- Stitch the right side seam. Serge the seam and press open. Stitch the left side seam up to the zipper mark. Serge and press open the seam allowances. Insert the zipper.
- Attach the waistband to the upper edge of the skirt. Finish the ends of the waistband, trim the seam allowances at the corners, and turn out. Fold under the inner edge of the waistband and topstitch into the attaching seam. Press the waistband.
- Serge the hem allowance, press to the wrong side, and topstitch.
- Mark and overlock the buttonhole. Sew on the button.
