  • From main fabric:
  • 1. Back – 2 qty
  • 2. Front – 2 qty
  • 3. Trim strip – 1 qty
  • 4. Trim strip 1 – 2 qty
  • 5. Yoke – 1 qty
  • 6. Coquille – 1 qty
  • 7. Lower – 2 qty

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fold the trim strip in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Fold trim strip 1 pieces right sides together and stitch the lower shaped edge. Turn trim strip 1 right side out and press.
  2. Stitch the dart on the front. Press the dart upwards.
  3. Cut the flounce in a spiral. Finish the outer edge of the flounce with a rolled hem. Measure the length of the flounce along the open edge. Attach the flounce to one of the front panels up to the notch, 1 cm from the bottom edge.
  4. Fold the front pieces right sides together, align the edges, and stitch the center seam. Press the seam open and finish the edges.
  5. Attach the trim strips to the yoke. Stitch the yoke to the front. Press the seam upwards and finish the edges.
  6. Stitch the shoulder seams. Press the seams towards the back and finish the edges.
  7. Cut a bias binding 4 cm wide for finishing the armhole and neckline. Fold the bias binding in half lengthwise, right side out, and press. Place the binding with the armhole edge right sides together and stitch, then fold the binding to the wrong side and topstitch along the fold to the main piece. Press the seam. Finish the neckline in a similar manner.
  8. Prepare the rouleau loop. Attach the loop to the center edge of the right back. Finish the center edges of the back. Stitch the center seam of the back from the bottom to the notch and press open. Secure the seam allowance of the center seam to the neckline with 2-3 stitches.
  9. Stitch the side seams. Finish the seams and press towards the back. Secure the seam allowance of the side seam to the armhole with 2-3 stitches.
  10. Stitch the side seams of the lower parts. Press the seam towards the back and finish the edges. Along the upper edge, sew a row of stitches with loose tension and gather. Attach the lower to the upper. Finish the seam and press upwards. Stitch along the markings with elastic thread.
  11. Hem the bottom of the garment by folding twice by 1 cm and topstitching.
  12. Sew a button to the back.
