This versatile blouse is designed for comfort and style, making it an excellent choice for:

  • Casual Chic: Perfect for stylish everyday outfits when paired with trousers or skirts.
  • Office & Business Casual: A comfortable yet polished option suitable for professional settings.
  • Relaxed Gatherings: Offers effortless elegance for social events or weekend wear.

Key Design Features

Silhouette: Relaxed fit through the bust and shoulders, transitioning into fluid dolman sleeves, and defined at the natural waist by a separate lower band and belt.

Neckline: Classic round neckline, finished with a smooth facing for a clean look.

Sleeves: Dolman sleeves, short in length, creating a comfortable, flowing line that extends to just above the elbow.

Waist: Features functional belt loops to accommodate an accompanying belt, allowing for a customizable, defined waistline.

Hem: A straight hemline is finished with a distinct lower band that provides subtle structure and a tailored appearance.

Closure: Pullover style with no visible fastenings, relying on the wide neckline for easy wear.

Back: Plain, mirroring the relaxed dolman silhouette of the front, ensuring a clean and streamlined finish.

Level Of Difficulty

Intermediate. Requires experience with knit fabrics, attaching facings, and constructing a lower band and belt loops.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the BACK NECK FACING and FRONT NECK FACING pieces.
  2. Stitch the shoulder seams of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press them towards the BACK PANEL.

Press the SEAM ALLOWANCES, clip curves, turn the FACING to the wrong side and topstitch onto the blouson 1 cm from the neckline edge.
  4. Clip the SEAM ALLOWANCE at the NOTCH on the side seams of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL. Stitch the side seams of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL from the NOTCH downwards. Serge the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press them towards the BACK PANEL.
  5. Serge the raw SEAM ALLOWANCES of the side seams of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL, press them to the wrong side and topstitch.
