Sewing Instructions
- Stitch side seams. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and serge.
- Serge the upper and lower edges with a narrow, dense rolled hem, using contrasting thread.
- Measure the required length of elastic TRIM STRIP: one piece equals the overbust circumference (measuring tape runs horizontally across the back, touching the back corners of the armpits, then along the armpits; in front, it runs above the base of the breasts). The second piece equals the underbust circumference (measuring tape runs horizontally around the torso below the base of the breasts).
- Mark the lines for stitching the elastic TRIM STRIP along the upper edge and under the bust. Stitch the TRIM STRIP to the garment, stretching it and evenly distributing the gathers.
- Attach the straps. If desired, form a bow from decorative TRIM STRIP and attach it according to the sketch.
