Sewing Instructions
- Stitch darts on cups, trim dart depth to 0.5 cm and overlock. Stitch cups into the FRONT PANEL, overlock SEAM ALLOWANCES.
- Stitch side seams, press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the BACK PANEL and overlock.
- Overlock upper and lower edges.
- Cut BIAS BINDING from main fabric, 4 cm wide and length equal to the length of the lower armhole. Press the TRIM STRIP in half lengthwise, right side out. Place the BIAS BINDING right sides together with the lower armhole and stitch. Fold the TRIM STRIP to the wrong side. Topstitch the seam allowance onto the TRIM STRIP with a 0.1 cm wide seam.
- Cut the upper edge FACING from main fabric, 8 cm wide (approximate length is indicated on the BACK PANEL). Finish all sides with a rolled hem, stitch a line with loosely tensioned stitches in the middle and gather to the desired length (approximate length is indicated on the BACK PANEL). Topstitch decorative LACE TRIM onto the FACING and topstitch the FACING onto the neckline edge of the BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL, simultaneously forming the straps.
- Cut the lower edge FACING from main fabric, 8 cm wide (approximate length is indicated on the BACK PANEL). Stitch the piece into a ring, press the seam open and overlock. Finish the long sides with a rolled hem, stitch a line with loosely tensioned stitches in the middle and gather to the length of the lower edge. Topstitch decorative LACE TRIM onto the FACING and topstitch the FACING onto the lower edge of the garment.
