Sewing Instructions
- Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the skirt yokes.
- Stitch the center skirt panel to the side panels. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press towards the center panel.
- Attach the interfaced yoke piece to the skirt. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press upwards.
- Stitch and overlock the right side seam of the skirt. Press the seam towards the BACK PANEL. Stitch the left side seam from the ZIPPER NOTCHES downwards. Press the seam open, pressing the SEAM ALLOWANCES for the ZIPPER, and overlock. Place the ZIPPER under the SEAM ALLOWANCES and stitch so that the teeth are not visible.
- Stitch the FLOUNCE pieces. Overlock and press the seams. Attach the FLOUNCE to the lower edge of the skirt. Overlock the SEAM ALLOWANCES and press upwards. Overlock the lower edge of the FLOUNCE, fold up 1 cm and topstitch. Press the seam.
- Stitch the non-interfaced yoke pieces along the right side seam. Overlock the stitching seam, as well as the open side edges and the lower edge of the yokes. Press the seams. Place the skirt with the inner yokes right sides together and stitch along the upper edge. Topstitch the stitching seam onto the inner yoke 0.2 cm from the seam. Fold the inner yokes to the wrong side and press. Attach the open side edges to the ZIPPER SEAM ALLOWANCES. Topstitch the inner yokes into the seam of attaching the outer yokes and press.
