CUTTER'S MUST

  • From main fabric:
  • 1. Upper BACK PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 2. Back YOKE – 1 QTY
  • 3. BACK SKIRT HALF – 1 QTY
  • 4. Upper FRONT PANEL – 2 QTY
  • 5. Front YOKE – 1 QTY
  • 6. Right FRONT SKIRT HALF – 1 QTY
  • 7. Left FRONT SKIRT HALF – 1 QTY
  • FROM FUSIBLE INTERFACING: upper FRONT PANEL, upper BACK PANEL.

Sewing Instructions

  1. Fuse FUSIBLE INTERFACING to the upper FRONT PANEL and upper BACK PANEL.
  2. Stitch the upper BACK PANEL to the yoke. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the upper part.
  3. Stitch the back yoke to the BACK SKIRT HALF. Press the stitching seam towards the yoke and serge.
  4. Stitch the upper FRONT PANEL to the yoke. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES towards the upper part.
  5. Stitch the right FRONT SKIRT HALF to the front yoke. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES near the NOTCH, press towards the yoke and serge. Stitch the left FRONT SKIRT HALF to the front yoke. Clip SEAM ALLOWANCES near the NOTCH, press towards the yoke and serge. Stitch the free sections of the left and right FRONT SKIRT HALVES. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open and serge.
  6. Stitch the right side seam of the skirt. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open and serge. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the stitching seam of the upper FRONT PANEL and BACK PANEL. Stitch the left side seam from the ZIPPER NOTCH downwards. Press SEAM ALLOWANCES open, pressing the slit for the fastener, and serge. Insert the ZIPPER.
  7. Stitch and press open the right side edge of the interfaced upper BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL (hereinafter referred to as FACINGS). Serge the lower edge of the FACINGS.
  8. Place the FACINGS and skirt right sides together and stitch the upper edge. Turn the FACINGS to the wrong side, baste and press. Fold the side edges and hand stitch to the ZIPPER tape. Topstitch 0.5 cm from the edge along the upper edge. Stitch the serged edge of the FACINGS into the seam of the upper BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL.
  9. Serge the lower edge of the skirt, press to the wrong side and topstitch.
