  • 1. Front - 1 qty
  • 2. Overlay front - 1 qty
  • 3. Back - 2 qty
  • 4. Bias binding for armhole finish - 2 qty
  • 5. Tie - 2 qty

Sewing Instructions

  1. Stitch darts. Press bust dart allowances downwards, waist dart allowances towards the center back line.
  2. Stitch the center back seam below the slit mark for the zipper.
  3. Press the seam allowance along the slanted section of the right side seam of the front to the wrong side, turn under and topstitch.
  4. Stitch the left shoulder seam. Trim seam allowances close to the stitching, serge together and press forward.
  5. Press the seam allowances along the neckline edges of the front and back pieces to the wrong side, turn under and topstitch at a distance of 0.75 cm.
  6. Press the seam allowances along the edges of the zipper slit to the wrong side. Attach the zipper so that the teeth are not visible, turning under the upper ends of the zipper tapes.
  7. Place the overlay front wrong side onto the right side of the front, aligning the center front lines, as well as the neckline edge of the front with the alignment line marked on the wrong side of the overlay front. Baste the edges of the right armholes and the right side seams up to the slanted section.
  8. Stitch the right shoulder seam, press seam allowances forward, leave the seam allowance along the neckline edge of the overlay front protruding.
  9. Fold each bias binding for armhole finishing in half lengthwise and press. Stitch the folded bias binding to the armhole edge, with the fold of the bias binding lying on the garment at a width of 0.75 cm. Trim seam allowances to a width of 0.5 cm. Turn the bias binding to the wrong side, topstitch the dress along the armhole close to the edge.
  10. Neatly stitch the Ties to a width of 1 cm. Baste one end of one tie to the left side seam of the front between the transverse notches.
  11. Stitch the side seams. Press seam allowances open and attach at the armholes.
  12. Serge the lower edges of the front, back, and overlay front, press the hem allowances to the wrong side and hand stitch.
  13. Press the seam allowance along the slanted edge of the overlay FRONT's front edge to the wrong side, turn under and baste.
  14. Serge the seam allowance along the neckline edge of the overlay front, press to the wrong side and baste.
  15. Topstitch the overlay front along the neckline and front edges at a distance of 1.0 cm.
  16. Attach the second tie under the corner of the overlay front between the transverse notches.
