- 2. Back - 1 qty on fold
- 3. Sleeve - 2 qty
- 4. Neckline casing trim strip - 1 qty on fold
- 5. Neckline casing tie - 4 qty
- 6. Sleeve flounce - 2 qty
- 7. Front slit facing - 1 qty
Sewing Instructions
- Place the slit facing on the front, right sides together, pin along the drawn slit line, and stitch along the three sides of the marking, close to it.
- Cut the facing and front between the stitches.
- Turn the facing to the wrong side, press the slit edges.
- Fold the facing to a width of 0.75 cm and baste.
- Topstitch the front along the slit edges.
- Sew the side seams and sleeve seams.
- Stitch the short edges of each sleeve flounce.
- Serge the lower edges of the sleeve flounces with a dense, narrow zigzag stitch. Press the seam allowance to the wrong side. From the right side of the flounce, stitch a dense, fine zigzag stitch along the fold. From the wrong side of the flounce, carefully trim the excess seam allowance close to the stitching.
- Gather each sleeve flounce along the upper edge to match the length of the SLEEVE's lower edge.
- Attach the flounces to the lower edges of the sleeves.
- Set the sleeves into the open armholes. Serge the sleeve insertion seam allowances together and press them towards the sleeve in the lower of the armhole.
- Serge the neckline edge with a dense, narrow zigzag stitch. Press the seam allowance to the wrong side. From the right side, stitch a dense, fine zigzag stitch along the fold. From the wrong side of the neckline, carefully trim the excess seam allowance close to the stitching.
- On the neckline casing trim strip, press the seam allowances along the longitudinal and short edges to the wrong side.
- Pin the trim strip to the blouse on the wrong side according to the marking, aligning the ends of the trim strip with the edges of the front slit.
- Topstitch the trim strip along the marking.
- Neatly turn out the ties to a width of 0.5 cm and thread them through the neckline casing.
- Turn under the hem seam allowance and topstitch at a distance of 1.5 cm.
