DXF AAMA pattern 2750 introduces a chic sheath dress with refined details and a timeless silhouette, perfect for professional or formal wear. Designed with a semi-fitted cut, this knee-length dress is divided by a waist seam that shapes the bodice and skirt for a tailored look. Short, set-in sleeves add to its polished style, while a faux double-breasted front with 8 buttons and a smart collar gives a classic, sophisticated finish. FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DXF AAMA PATTERN 2750
For DXF AAMA pattern 2750, we recommend dress fabrics with a structured yet comfortable drape, such as cotton twill, linen blends, or wool crepe. These natural or blended fibers provide the ideal balance of softness and structure to enhance the sheath silhouette while ensuring breathability. Fabrics with a slight stretch, like cotton spandex blends, are also suitable, offering added comfort while maintaining the dress’s tailored fit. Choose fabrics in solid or subtle textured finishes to highlight the sophisticated double-breasted detailing and collar.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONÂ
First, print out the paper patterns and lay them out according to the fabric width (the fabric width can range from 90 cm to 150 cm) to determine how much fabric you will need (don’t forget to account for paired and symmetrical pieces).
Second, pattern 2750 has asymmetrical front pieces:Â Upper Front Right and Upper Front Left are cut 1 in one layer, so the pattern pieces must be placed printed side up. They must also be placed on the right side of the fabric. Otherwise, you may find that pattern pieces fit the wrong side of your body.
Last: when joining the pieces, pay attention to the notches — they must align!
