From Lining Fabric:
Lining pieces are cut using the corresponding main pattern pieces with the following modifications:
- Center Back – 2 pieces
Cut without vent extension. Add 2–3 cm total width at the center back to form an ease pleat. Mark the fold line. - Side Back – 2 pieces
- Side Front – 2 pieces
- Center Front – 2 pieces
Cut to match the finished facing line (excluding facing extension). - Upper Sleeve – 2 pieces
- Lower Sleeve – 2 pieces
- Tail – 2 pieces
Shorten the hem by 1–1.5 cm to allow for turn of cloth and prevent the lining from showing.
From Fusible Interfacing:
Cut interfacing pieces using the corresponding main pattern pieces:
- Center Front Facings
- Back Neckline Facing
- Center Fronts (full or partial, depending on desired structure)
- Armhole areas of Side Front and Side Back
- Vent extensions
- Lower Collar
- Sleeve hem allowances
Important Notes:
The center back vent is constructed only in the outer fabric. The lining is cut without vent extension and must not replicate the vent structure.
The lining includes a center back ease pleat to allow movement and prevent strain during wear.
Pocket Underlay:
The length must match the welt opening between the marked stitching lines.
The recommended width is 4–6 cm.
Important Information
Before cutting your fabric:
- Print and lay out pattern pieces to determine yardage.
- Check mirrored pieces, notches, and grainlines.
- For patterned fabrics, align carefully for symmetry.
SEAM ALLOWANCES
No seam allowances by default.
If the option to add them at €1 is chosen, all seams are 1.0 cm.
Please note:
A single contour on the pattern pieces means no seam allowances are included.
A double contour indicates seam allowances are included.
